Oxbridge Offers for 12 Bancroftians

 Congratulations to the twelve members of the Upper Sixth  who have secured offers to study at Oxford or Cambridge next year.

Subject to grades, five of them will be heading to Oxford and seven of them will be heading up to Cambridge. Those Oxford-bound include: Anna Hubbard (Modern Languages, Keble), Geraint Kiff (Modern Languages, Pembroke), Linnet Kaymer (History, Merton), Calum Lomas (Economics and Management, St Hughs) and Georgia Watson (Classics, Trinity).   Meanwhile, Cambridge-bound are: Harriet Bartlett (Veterinary Science, Gonville & Caius), Eleanor Flaherty (Geography, Selwyn), Deanna Green (Theology, Queens), Alison Harvey (Modern Languages, St. John’s), Lorcan Murphy (Engineering, Christ’s), Stephanie Posner (Classics, Jesus) and Ben Yelverton (Natural Sciences-Physics, St Catherine’s).

Headteacher, Mary Ireland, said, “We are delighted that the hard work and dedication that these students have shown over a number of years has been so richly rewarded and we wish them the very best in the pursuit of their studies.”
