PA to scale new heights

The PA has some very exciting news.   The school have asked us to fund the purchase of a climbing wall which will be built on the outside of the School sports hall.

We are delighted to say that that the PA has agreed to the project and so now it is full steam ahead to raise the funds for such a fabulous piece of equipment. The School’s aim is to have the funds available for the wall to be built during the summer holidays in 2013. The PA have been asked to fund the initial cost and, thereafter, the School will take on the running costs.

The climbing wall is seen as something from which all pupils throughout the school will benefit , whether in PE lessons or any of the many co- curricular activities which Bancroft’s offers.

Although the PA does have some funds available, we are hoping to raise a further £15,000 over the next 15 months in order for the project to go ahead. We hope that all pupils and parents will assist us to reach this target.
