Occasional Places

Thank you for your interest in an occasional place at Bancroft’s.

The School’s standard entry points are at 7+, 11+, and 16+, with all year groups typically at full capacity. However, families may occasionally need to relocate, leading to the rare availability of places in other year groups.

We may look to fill occasional places in the following years:

Prep School: Years 4 and 5
Senior School: Years 8 and 9

Availability for these places is usually confirmed early in the Spring Term, with successful candidates joining us the following September.

For Year 8 entry, applicants who previously sat our 11+ exams are only reconsidered if they reached the interview stage.

If a place is available, we will contact you and invite you to complete a registration form and make a non-refundable registration fee of £150. Candidates will be invited to attend for entrance assessment and interview.
