Amrita’s Secret Garden

<div style=”text-align: justify;”><img style=”margin-right: 10px; float: left;” src=”images/stories/Amritas_secret_gardenweb.jpg” alt=”Amritas_secret_gardenweb” width=”148″ height=”204″ />Congratulations to Amrita Robertson (RW) for her success in <em>The Times</em> competition to design a cover for a centenary edition of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s much loved children’s novel <em>The Secret Garden</em>.  Amrita’s  colourful entry was placed third  in the competition, which was run in association with publishers Random House and which attracted over 500 entries.  Dame Jacqueline Wilson, the former children’s laureate, who picked the winner said, “We found it hard to decide and we deliberated for a long time through some very beautiful pictures.”</div>
