Another Interhouse Swimming Win for North House

The Thirds Interhouse Gala was closely contested!

After the individual races School House were leading by just one point.  When the relays concluded North House edged just in front for overall victory.

West House Boys had the highest scoring boys’ team and for the girls, School House Girls and North House Girls were joint first.  With boys and girls scores combined North house were victorious.

Ilyas was just two seconds off the school record for 50m Breaststroke. Both Maya and Xander had a great 50m Front crawl swims finishing in 34 seconds.  Swimmers had the option to start in the water or with a dive. There were lots of good dives, particularly Georgi from North House whose dive gave him a head start.

East House showed great team spirit combined with some top notch cheering; particularly when they swam to victory in the Boys 4x25m Freestyle relay.  The Girls race in the same event was also great for spectators and cheering. West, East and School Houses all finished within 2 seconds of one another.

All of the team captains put lots of work into organising their teams into individual and relay races. They worked hard adjusting races to fill any gaps and to ensure everyone available participated. Thank you to Evie and Will, Maya and Xander, Maryum and Sebastian, Mia and Riyan.
