Bancroft’s Lionesses Inaugural Roar!

The first game of the season saw our U12 and U13 teams take on West Hatch, winning both matches in thrilling style.

The U12s secured a 1-0 victory with a goal from Mia, showcasing strong play across the pitch. The U13s triumphed in a dramatic 4-3 encounter, with Ariella achieving a hat-trick and netting the match-winner in the final minute. Cordelia added the fourth goal, capping off an exciting game.

A special mention goes to Sasha (Head of Girls’ Games) in the Prep School for nurturing the football talent of many current U12s last year. The enthusiasm and skill on display were truly impressive.

If any other girls are interested in joining, football practice takes place on Mondays after school, from 4pm to 5.15pm.
