Bancroft’s Robot Wars – ACTIVATE!
Our Thirds dived into the adrenaline-pumping world of robotics as they participated in Bancroft's very first Robot Wars competition.
The event was organised by our Engineer in Residence James French, who is an Old Bancroftian. He crafted an immersive and hands-on engineering experience to spark creativity and problem-solving in our pupils.
Throughout the day, Thirds were off-timetable as they designed, builded and battled safely their robotic creations, pushing their engineering skills to the limit. It was also a great teamwork activity for them.
All pupils cheered and supported their peers throughout very close matches. In first place were Arti, Isaac, Devan and Andrew with the team name ‘Shreddi’ – well done boys!
