GCSE Spotlight: Embracing Every Opportunity at Bancroft’s
She’s captained the swimming team, competed in regional hockey finals, and performed with Bancroft’s Singers. “I love playing the piano at school events and have made close friends across different year groups through these activities,” she says.
Reflecting on her GCSE success, Kimaya feels “relieved and very happy” after the long wait for results.
Starting at Bancroft’s in Year 7, one of her standout memories includes flying a two-seater propeller plane with the RAF section in the CCF. “It was something I’d never imagined doing five years ago!”
Looking ahead, Kimaya is excited to study Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, and Economics in the Sixth Form.
“I’m thrilled to push myself academically, run societies, and finally use the Sixth Form café!”
With ambitions to study Mathematics at university and pursue a career in finance, Kimaya is ready for the challenges ahead.
Great work Kimaya!
