Greetings from Seville!

Our pupils had an incredible time discovering Seville on their cultural trip. They visited the stunning Parque de María Luisa, admired the beauty of Plaza de España, and enjoyed fantastic city views from Las Setas.

A flamenco and Sevillanas dance lesson also brought the vibrant Spanish culture to life.

The 5th and 6th form spent a memorable Saturday in Cádiz and traveled to Córdoba to tour the Cathedral-Mosque. They also enjoyed a visit to La Maestranza bullring and had a delicious dinner in Triana.

It is fair to say that our pupils soaked up both the 28-degree sunshine and the rich Spanish culture during the half-term break.

It was fantastic to hear our pupils reflect on the trip, sharing their thoughts and what they enjoyed most:

“The trip was both educational and enjoyable and made me a lot more confident in speaking Spanish and understanding it better. To top it off, I had a lovely family who hosted us very well and aided us in our Spanish as well as introducing us to culture.” Sofiina

“My favourite part of the trip was when we visited the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba, a mosque dating back to the 10th century now turned cathedral. Thank you, Mr Urreaga and Ms Bogado for organising this brilliant trip.” Ammar
