Kids’ Lit Victory
Many congratulations to the Bancroft’s A team on winning the Eastern Round of this year’s Kids’ Lit Quiz. The team of Elizabeth Carter, Christina Okafor, Saffron Buthfer and Jonathan Webb won by 7 points in Corringham. The B team – Tahirah Holder, Ryan Ramasamy, Zal Canteenwala and Tom Draper – came 5th out of 16. The A Team now progresses to the U.K final at Oxford Town Hall on Tuesday. Charlie Higson, author of the popular young James Bond series and Fast Show comedian, will address the audience before the competition. Good luck to the team!
