Olympiad Successes
The most fantastic set of Maths Olympiad results we have ever had!
Many congratulations to Kavin Vijayakumar and Francis Clark-Murray on gaining Distinctions, Medals and Prizes for their astounding performances in the Intermediate Maths Olympiad.
About 1600 pupils across the UK qualified to sit this very challenging paper and, within his year group, Kavin’s near-perfect score placed him 7th nationally, with Francis in 32nd place. They were awarded copies of Professor Stewart’s Hoard Of Mathematical Treasures as their book prizes.
Ellie Markovitch, Philippa Chilvers Woolley and Jasraj Panesar all gained Merits for their strong Olympiad performances: well done to them.
Congratulations also to Josh Strycharczyk who has been awarded a silver certificate in this year’s Chemistry Olympiad.
