Prep Netballers are Eastern Champions

Many congratulations to our talented Prep netballers.  They played in the IAPS East of England netball tournament yesterday which involved 29 other prep schools.  The girls played nine matches and won every single one.  There were four sections, the girls played and won all six matches in their section, including victories against Forest, Felsted and the Perse.  As section winners, they then faced matches against the winners of the other three sections to decide first to fourth places.  After beating Elm Green, South Lee and Brentwood they finished as the Eastern Champions.   They now progress to the National Finals which take place at Roedean School on Saturday 10 March.   So not only do we have the very oldest Bancroftians in a national netball final, we now have the youngest too!
