Regional Finals for U14s

<p style=”text-align: justify;”>Last Thursday, the U14 hockey team entered the Essex County Championships held at Redbridge Sports Centre.  The girls made a strong start against Coopers Coborn, beating them 1-0. They then proceeded to win 3 of their 4 next games resulting in a semi final place against a strong Felsted side. Clinical finishing from set pieces and an open field goal from Joy Coburn meant that Bancroft’s earned a 2-0 victory. This put them through to the East Regional finals on the 15 November. Unfortunately, we lost in the final to New Hall but did have 80% of the play. The day saw great performances from the squad who are now looking forward to the Regional Finals.</p> <p> </p>
