Sports Successes

Two recent success stories from Bancroftians old and new.

Gareth James (OB): Congratulations to Gareth who was honoured during the tea break on Saturday in front of a full house at Lords Cricket Ground during the Second Test match between England and Sri Lanka. Gareth received his honours from the MCC after scoring an unbeaten 127 against them last year whilst playing for the School.

Alex Pentecost: Well done to Alex of 3S who has been selected for the U12 North Origin team for the 2011 Hard Rock Café Origin Series in Rugby League this summer.   This is a great achievement for him as 2011 is his first season at rugby league for London Skolars Junior Rugby and has in the past only ever played Rugby Union.
