The Curriculum

High academic standards are at the heart of life at Bancroft’s, but so too is the belief that every child should feel supported and inspired as they progress.

From the age of seven through to university entrance, pupils follow a clear and carefully structured academic journey, with three main points of entry at 7+, 11+ and 16+.

We offer a balanced curriculum that helps each pupil uncover and develop their talents, whether in sport, music, drama or the many other activities that enrich school life. At the same time, we nurture their intellectual curiosity and confidence.

Choice plays an important role here. Our timetable is shaped around pupils’ own selections, giving them the freedom to explore their interests and grow in the directions that suit them best.
