Maariyah Highly Commended in the RGS School Essay Competition

Congratulations to Maariyah in the Lower Sixth, who has been highly commended in the Royal Geographical Society’s annual essay competition, run in partnership with the Financial Times.
This year’s competition challenged students to propose practical sustainability actions based on real-life insights. Maariyah’s essay stood out for its innovative and evidence-based ideas, including encouraging flexitarian diets and advocating for greener energy grids.
Her recognition is a wonderful reflection of her thoughtful approach to tackling global challenges. Well done, Maariyah, on this fantastic achievement!
