Uniform Requirements

Our pupils are the public face of Bancroft's and are responsible in large part for the reputation that we have in the local area.  A distinctive uniform is a sign of belonging together, and we believe it is important in building and sustaining our Bancroft's community.  It also helps to foster a smart appearance and a more purposeful attitude throughout the School.  We ask parents to co-operate in ensuring that their children come to school in the correct uniform.

Bancroft’s uniform should be purchased from Schoolblazer, our online supplier. Some items may be bought from high street retailers, as long as they match the stipulated school style.  Full details are given on the uniform lists at the bottom of this page.

When you use Schoolblazer for the first time you are asked to set up each child with their age, details and measurements. The site suggests the garment size which will fit your child.  For your convenience, Schoolblazer provides an optional name tagging service.  Schoolblazer offers a free returns service.  When an item is sent to you, a returns form and postage paid label are included within the delivery.  Items can be returned for a replacement or refund within 14 days of receiving the order.  This still applies if a  garment has been name tagged

The Schoolblazer helpline is open Monday-Friday 9am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5.30pm or Schoolblazer can be contacted by email: .

Sixth Form

We expect our Sixth Form pupils to look smart,  Although they do not have a uniform, members of the Sixth Form are asked to follow a dress code. Currently our Student Congress are consulting with the Sixth Form regarding the dress code.  Following this process, a new Sixth Form dress code will be devised and this will be communicated to pupils and parents once finalised.
