ARTiculation Regional Heat Winner

Congratulations to Bancroft's Upper Sixth Former Thomas Leung who competed in the Regional Heat of the ARTiculation Prize competition held at Birmingham’s Ikon Gallery on Monday 19 January.  The ARTiculation Prize public speaking competition, which is part of The Roche Court Educational Trust’s ARTiculation initiative, invites sixth form students to give a short presentation on a work of art, artefact or architecture of their choice.  Thomas spoke on the Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern and was declared the winner.  He will now join the other four finalists on Saturday 7 March at Clare College, Cambridge.  The final will be adjudicated by Dr Penelope Curtis, Director, Tate Britain.
