Bancroft’s at Edinburgh
Mia is at boarding school. She has access to drugs. They are Martha’s. Henry is preparing for art college. He has access to alcohol. From Martha. Martha controls their lives. Martha is their mother.
For the first time ever, there will be a Bancroft’s representation at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August. The Middlepeg Theatre Company – cast and crew drawn from our talented Sixth Form with Miss Middleton and Miss Pegram as directors/producers – is performing That Face by Polly Stenham. The original acclaimed production of this challenging and original drama took place at the Royal Court Theatre, with Lindsey Duncan and Matt Smith.
That Face will be performed from 5-9 August at the Gryphon Venues at the Point Hotel. The play is suitable for ages 14+ and deals with adult themes and contains strong language.
