Fantastic A Level Results

Congratulations to our Upper Sixth leavers who have acheived a fantastic set of A2 grades from our students, with a total of 17 achieving at least 3 A*s (nine of whom gained 4 or more A*s).  Leading the pack are Joanne Pham and Charlotte Krishek, who both notched up a stunning tally of 5 A*s. 

Once again Bancroft’s has seen an increase in the number of A* grades rise to 30% from 28% in 2013, compared with a national figure of 8%. 

Most of our pupils have achieved their first choice university places, with a confirmed ten places at either Oxford or Cambridge.  Sixteen students have places to read Medicine.

Head, Mary Ireland, said, “The School is delighted at the exceptional results achieved by this hard working year group.  Overall 90% of the grades were A*-B, the best results the School has ever achieved, despite the increase in rigour in the system.  Our combination of bright, hardworking pupils and dedicated staff is clearly a winning one!”
