Hockey Silver for Redbridge Boys

Bancroft’s was very well represented in the Redbridge hockey teams in the London Youth Games Finals held over the weekend at Crystal Palace.

The girls’ team was placed 7th out of 33 teams, whilst the boys’ team which contained eight of our pupils from the 3rds to L4 took the silver medal.  This is particularly impressive considering that our Essex County players were not eligible to compete. In the Mini Games Finals, the hockey team which contained many of our Prep players came first.  Congratulations to all players, and also to other Bancroftians who competed in other sports.
