Lord’s Lunch
A group of 100 Old Bancroftians, parents and friends enjoyed a very special lunch in the Long Room at Lord’s last week. Guest speakers at the 
event were Bob Willis MBE (ex Captain of England and now with Sky Sport) and Derek Underwood MBE (ex England player and former President of MCC). At the lunch the School was given a new set of 1st XI cricket shirts which have been sponsored by the Spire Roding Hospital. One of the shirts was presented to Nigel Jacob on behalf of the 1st XI. The event has made about £6000 towards the costs of the various school sports tours; the 1st XI departs for its three week tour of Namibia and South Africa on Saturday.
