We are delighted to announce that thirteen of our talented current Upper Sixth Formers have been offered places at either Oxford or Cambridge Universities for entry September 2013, subject to A2 grades. In addition, Caroline Sautter OB, who left us in 2012, has been offered an unconditional place at Pembroke College, Cambridge based on her grades from last summer, so bringing the Bancroft's total to fourteen.

Eleven pupils will be heading up the M11 to Cambridge and three along the M40 to Oxford. The successes cover nine different subjects and twelve different colleges including Cambridge-bound Omar Ali (Gonville & Caius, Medicine), Maria Pieri (Christ's, Medicine), Preeth Channa (Downing, Natural Sciences Biological), Elena Markovitch (Selwyn, Natural Sciences Biological), Rishi Bhabutta (Pembroke, Mathematics), Faheem Kirefu (Churchill, Mathematics), Holly Carter (Robinson, Geography), Rosie Eagland (Sidney Sussex, Geography), Nick Slack (Trinity Hall, Engineering), Hannah White (Gonville & Caius, Land Economy), and OB Caroline Sautter (Pembroke, Human, Social and Political Sciences) whose place is unconditional. Meanwhile, Oxford-bound are Emma Flynn (Balliol, Biological Sciences), Edwin Poon (Wadham, History & Economics) and Kajal Kandeth (St Edmund Hall, Law).

Head, Mary Ireland, said, “We are delighted that the hard work and dedication that these students have shown over a number of years has been so richly rewarded and we wish them every success for the future.”
