Senior Maths Challenge 2015

On a grey November day in the half term holidays 82 senior students dug themselves out of bed to compete in the UKMT Senior Mathematics Challenge. They managed to achieve an impressive 20 Golds, 25 Silvers and 20 Bronze awards, with Peter Andreev scoring an impressive full marks.

Five students, Peter Andreev, Viraj Shah, Sayon Uthayakumar, Nivethan Balakulendran and Arun Soor all qualified to compete in the British Mathematics Olympiad (BMO1) where the top 1600 senior students in the UK tackle some extremely demanding problems. Three of these students came in the top 200 nationally. Congratulations to all who took part.
