Sporting talents recognised!

The sporting talents displayed by many Bancroftians have been recognised by selection for county and regional teams.  The Redbridge Boys’ Indoor Cricket team were victorious in the finals of the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games 2010 which was recently held at Lords.  The team included five of our Removes: Sai Johal, Ashley Brand, Samraj Sadra (Captain), Ali Cayir and Vikram Handa.   

Five of our U12 hockey players  played for Old Loughts in the Essex Club Championships held at Redbridge Sports Centre (Monika Johal, Chloe Joarder, Ella Day, Tirion Prole, Dafydd Prole).  Both the girls and the boys teams won the tournament, and were awarded medals and a shield.  They also both managed to get through the tournament (seven matches each) without conceding a single goal!
